Painter and cartoonist born in Mexico City in 1954. From the age of 17, she entered various artist workshops, such as Eduardo Cohen, Roberto Cortázar, Gilberto Aceves Navarro, Isaac Stavans, Juan José Beltrán, Flor Minor and Luis Nishizawa to training in drawing and with Enrique Altamirano in engraving and with Dorothea Hofmann in drawing and painting in Oaxaca. Abroad, she took courses at the Art School in Boca Raton, FL., among others. This training was accompanied by taking courses and diplomas in art history and interior design, as well as by teaching lifelike figure drawing for 30 years.
Her trajectory goes from figuration to abstraction, in a process of perfecting drawing and pictorial exercise. She initially through the human figure to move on to the insertion of geometric elements that frame sections of the body and experience dynamic compositions with the dissection of stringed musical instruments. From the multiple compositions that she makes with the latter, she ventures into the management of color and various pictorial techniques, until she eliminates all recognizable reference to specific objects, exploring the pictorial space with the tracing of lines, points and multiform figures.
